I know quite a few women who got pregnant beyond 45. When the time is right, it will happen - no matter what "they" tell about your age...

My primary care doctor in West Virginia didn't have her first child until she was 45!!
Several women in my LLL [La Leche League] group are also 40 plus, and are just starting their families.
In my line of work, I am an RN [Registered Nurse], many of my colleagues were very negative.
The heck with them!! Follow your heart, listen to your gut feelings!!

My story is way back at the beginning of this long thread, so I also repeat that both my grandmother and great grandmother had their last children in their mid forties. Both healthy girls.
