I've got a friend whose mother delivered at 47 and her mother-in-law at 48 (we're talking in the early 50's ladies -- no donor eggs! )
I even heard about a woman in our church who was expecting at 50.

Wanted to ask you if I should learn or get more herbs than I am taking now. Also, don't know if you remember, but I JUST turned 46 so I am certainly fighting the odds.. (but my RE also helped a 46, 47 and 48 get pregnant with their own eggs).

On A Current Affair show here, they showed a woman of 47 who was told to give up. As a last resort, she tried acupuncture and herbs for a few months. She has just had her first baby 1 month ago.

Please don't ever let any one tell you you're too old, not even your mum. Don't let anyone deter you from your dream, especially since it is entirely possible, not at all unrealistic, and is brought forth by love and affection. If she needs any more reason to change her tune, let her know that this old lady, in chronological age only, gave birth at 45.
