I just found out at a reunion in June that my great grandmother had her 9th child at 52. She was actually embarrassed, and hid the pregnancy by wearing big clothes, etc., as others her age were not in the same situation. She had two children in her forties.

I went to a funeral a couple of weeks ago (my sister-in-law's mother). She was 93 years old and had 11 living children, with her last when she was 45.

We breathed a sign of relief when our daughter seemed to get through the 2's so easily, but then her sister arrived when she was 2.5 and it really hit us hard. Now she is 3.5 it all seems so be so much calmer.
They are playing together and laughing is so much better. Grace is 3.5 Isabella just 1 and Me 46. Wouldn't change it for the world or and my husband just turned 50...
