My RE is GREAT about my age... He prides his practice in telling that a 45, 46 and 47 year old have conceived naturally in his care.

We are trying to conceive our second child, really hoping that we can give our first child a sibling. I was 45 when the first was born, so I hope that gives others some encouragement. It was a little disconcerting though to be considered geriatric.

I've been away at a wedding and there were 2 women there with 2 year old (aged 47) and another with a 5 year old and aged 48. That is so positive!!!
Further to the 47 and 48 year old with the children at the wedding I went to last week in the country - they were naturally conceived, own eggs, no intervention.
I know that because these women are from my brother's church, a very conservative Scottish Presbyterian church who don't allow intervention AT ALL!! The children were second ( after 11 years of trying) and 6th babies after 15 years of TTC. I feel inspired again!!

Changed to a different TCM practitioner who is totally confident that people my age (41.6) and older can conceive. One of his clients gave birth for the 1st time at 48, was 47 when she fell pregnant using her own eggs.
