On Father's Day 2007, over pancakes at IHOP, Salinans Doris and Randy Worcester broke the news to their daughters, ages 15, 12 and 9: their family was about to have a new addition.No, it wasn't a new bathroom or bedroom or a new car, the girls discovered. Instead, in just about five months, they would have a new baby brother.
"It was a stunning shock when we found out," Randy said. "There was a nine-year gap there."
Randy and Doris had found themselves, at ages 45 and 44, the parents-to-be of an unplanned child, or what some refer to as an "Accidental" or "Oops!" baby.
