Low-dose Aspirin Therapy can help Prevent Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome

Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), one of the iatrogenic complications resulting from follicle stimulating medications administered during fertility treatment, affects up to 10% of women undergoing IVF.

A recent study published in the journal, Fertility and Sterility reports that low dose aspirin therapy administered during ovulation induction could be effective in preventing OHSS in high-risk populations.
