You are not too old to have a baby. My mom's friend was 47 when she had her little girl, and she didn't have any problems.

Good luck, keep trying. One of my sister's co-worker got pregnant on her own at age 47, and just had a healthy baby. Relax and pray.

My mother was born when my grandmother was 44, I was born when my mother was 34 and my father was 40, and at 37 1/2 I am trying for #2. My husband was born when his mom was 36.
Despite our "old" parents, we turned out wonderfully (a doctor and a lawyer no less). Everyone will love the baby irrespective of your age. If you can do it, go for it and I hope all of the nay-sayers eat crow!
