My friend over at Pretty Little Knit Stitches is setting out to sew 30 minutes of every day for the next 30 days. It will a challenge for her to find the time, she is a Mom and I imagine that her 6 month old son is wanting a lot of her time these days! I am going to join in for this goal and try to spend at least 30 minutes per day sewing too. I actually can't do this for an entire 30 days since in 22 days I am going away on vacation (yay yay yay!)
My goal will be to complete some projects that have been lingering... The Simple Modern Baby Blanket is so close to being done, I have just a little more of the binding to handsew. I also have a bucket hat that is pretty much done, just a little hand sewing is left.
I have a tonne of baby wipes all cut and ready to sew and another bucket hat ready to sew.
I also desperately want a case for my Knit Pick interchangable needles, and I have signed up for two more I-Spy Swaps!
Oh yes and there are two skirts almost done!
I think I will spend the next 30 days finishing these projects, then, when I return from my vacation I can start on a few I-Spy Quilts.
I know it won't be a huge challenge to find the time for sewing, but it will be a challenge to motivate myself to get some of these projects done. They are lingering for a reason afterall.
