A DELIGHTED mum is preparing to celebrate the first birthday of her ‘miracle’ son – who weighed less than a bag of sugar when he was born.Simone Katz could hold baby Beau in the palm of her hand when he was born, more than three months prematurely and weighing just 1lb 15 oz, last year.
The 43 year-old feared her dream of having a child was going to be snatched away from her when doctors were forced to restart the youngster’s heart soon after his birth.
